MIDDELBULT MINE Underground conveyor systems and bins. Date: February 1999 - October 1999 Project Value: R1,8 Million Existing bin and conveyors removed Fabrication and installation of an underground Conveyor system together with a new Incline Shaft Bottom Bin. ISCOR VANDERBIJLPARK Additions and upgrading of the Coke and Sinter Plant Materials Handling System. Date: February 2000 – August 2000 Project Value: R9.6 Million Project consisted of 1 pocket conveyor, a Feed Conveyor with Gantries, a conveyor to the Furnace 5 Bunker Trippers, installation of a new Vibrating Screen. General modifications and upgrading of the Material flow system. ISCOR VANDERBIJLPARK Design, Manufacturing, Supply and Delivery of a new K3 Bunker Date: September 2000 – February 2001 Project Value: R930 000 Thousand The K3 Bunker formed part of a battery of Bunkers at Iscor, Vanderbijlpark, fed by train and loco system on a continuous base. The structural steel at girders was badly corroded. New Bunker and supporting steelwork were fabricated and erected without interrupting production. The existing structure was used as a temporary support underneath the existing operating railway system. ISCOR VANDERBIJLPARK IFSP Blast Furnace Stockyard upgrade Date: May 2001 – June 2002 Project Value: R22 Million Design, Fabrication and supply of equipment, Installation and Commissioning of Two Stackers, to stack Coke and Sinter, together with associated conveyors. SUPRACHEM Turnkey project, for a storage facility, including Screening and a Load-out facility. Date: May 2001 – 2003 Project Value: R18 Million The project consisted of a Conveyor system, a 3200m3 Silo with a truck load-out facility. Vibrating feeders, Screening facility 3 fractions.6 point loading facility to load trucks, and a 6 point loading facility to load Railway wagons. LEEUWPAN COAL MINE Traveling Stacker and Yard Conveyor Date: August 2004 Project Value: R7 Million Turnkey Project involving a 300 t/h Stacker including the supply and tripper. LEEUWPAN COAL MINE Stockyard and Reclaiming System Date: September 2004 Project Value: R19 Million Turnkey Project involving Stockyard bed preparation, 220m Tunnel, 12 withdrawal points including chutes, Reclaim Conveyor and Plant Feed Conveyor. SASOL COAL Feasibility Study Date: September 2006 Study for the Upgrade of the Exisiting Material Handling System at Export Plant. GROOTEGELUK COAL MINE Materials Handling System Date: May 2005 Project Value: R92 Million Turnkey Project This Project involves a Stockyard bed preparation, Stacker and Reclaimer embankments, including Civil work and rails. Stacker and Reclaim conveyors, 450t Bin including Feed Conveyor, 3000t Silo including Feed Conveyors. Upgrade of Apron Feeder and Bradford Breaker. Screen and Feed system. SISHEN IRON ORE Taster Plant Conveyors Date: March 2007 Project Value: R8.5 Million Turnkey Project This Project involves the design through to commissioning of a conveyor system and support structures for a Tester Plant at Sishen South.
